a yarn with Maggie, the sheep

Maggie: Yeah, it does take a lot out of you, growing wool all day, always doing stuff for other people ... and then there's my 2 little lambies too, they take up soooo much time ...
Reporter: And what are your customers like?
Maggie: Oh knitters, they're such lovely people, so friendly... although ...

Maggie: I do wish they were a bit better at estimating how much wool they need ... you wouldn't believe the number of times they come back asking me for just one more ball of yarn ... and of course, I can't refuse!
Reporter: Well, that's an interesting point Maggie, and it leads us on to our next segment, pattern-reading ...
(after packing up)
Reporter: Umm Maggie, I didn't want to mention it, but I think your shoulders are getting a little sunburnt
Maggie: Oh no! I was so worried this morning about the photo, I completely forgot my sunscreen!

So there you have it, an entry for Whiplash 5. I've been admiring the art dolls here and here for a while, not quite knowing how to start. Maggie is my first attempt at a doll (and Super Sculpey), and, yes, I won't burn the shoulders or knock the ear off next time ;D Oh, and I realised that the joints I did might be better on a puppet.
